calligraphy
Calligraphy have been around for many-many years. we humans have found a way now to creat more fonts that are much more alluring that before. From Roman Times to something that has much more curves and elements to each alphabet.
in this part of the assignment, we re given a type of front but but only by half, the other half we will have to design any type of design that complicates it . the left hand side is more of a design that is focus on black and white doodles and swirls while the right hand is more of a designs that are added a touch of colours. i am honestly like this part of the assignment because I've brainstorm these ideas before putting them into life , so it will look good ,though i have to redo a few designs for an extra few times
This part of the assignment , we are assigned to create our own font using our own name, i use my short form "fely" form my own name felicia. in this designed I've tried designing something more simple and practical for everyday use. this part is exciting and a little bit frustrating, as i've redoing this for 5 times, as for smear lines and uneven lines. finlay on the 6th attempt, i finally got it. was really happy about it . probably might mot be as perfect as the computer font but i am happy with what I've done.
Headline
in this head-line I’ve incorporated the style of elegant, as I am doing a head line about a new collection of Ralph and Russo’s couture line. As I read the article I’ve tried also following the brand style which was flora and pastel colors. The dark blue background help enhance the pastel colors and also help enhancing the pastel garments that I’ve put in the layout.
For the headline, I’ve use the font “Snell Roundhand” because of its elegant of its way of writing the words. I’ve also made it a little curved as it helps with enhancing the elegant of the font and the headline
