on the 24th of August we were assign to build a catapult that could hit as far as 10 meters. we were seperated into groups of 6 just within our FID course. me and my team which was JUN WEI , AMIRA , ARYLYM and MYSElF.

Catapult Name : minimilizme

Requirements
Overview
In this assigment we told to ask these golden questions within our own teammates. for exzample, "will this work?".
"how large should it be ?", "what should we use?', "will it support?" and etc. these questions will guide us in our work. without questions we are not abel to figure these solutions out. it was challenging i would say, as it the days go on making this catapult, we tend to face challenges, such as the plan that we used or plan before didnt work so well , it was frusrating but i guess thats how we learn as a human being. we learn by making mistakes and try not to repeat the mistake ever again we were also tolf to make a desgin on our catapult. my team decided to be really simple and not go over dramtic on the desgin. we were planning to still keep it classic just like the golden days. .
Teamwork Experience
In my Opinion . when it comes on working in groups. the team should have a suppoting each ohter character in everyone of them. my team might have failed to reach 10 meters. but we did learn a huge lesson on suppoting each ohter. even at the very last minute we are abel to pull out this catapult out.

in the very first day me and my team, we needed to find materials that we can see around us, knowing really well we rae a bunch of art desgin student. we tend to see everything that has tobe brought brand new. but with our teamate Jun Wei's help we are abel to get used wood that were still in good condition . it wasnt all perfect but did work .
We use the recycled wood to build the whole catapult. with the length of 100times70. we nailed it all together to bulid the catapult that we have planed.

After nailling all the wooden peices together , we plan on adding a cardboad surface as a base of the catapult, as we really find our really best to recyled materials. because ECO friendly , after this we finaly saw the catapult's image, and we were extremly excited.

We nailed a used Broom Stick on the catapult as a shooter. this is to place the tennis Ball for the power realese. we also connected the form and the catapult with rubberbands and we combined so it would be stronger. and wouldn't be torn apart.
after all that we painted the whole catapult in white we put a little touch of brown so that it helps to create the illustion of wood. this is so we could hide the imperfectness of the wood before.
