NEGATIVE AND POSITIVE
in this project we were told to cut out 36 of squares that is measured (4 by 4) this measurement makes a perfect square for this assigment.
after cutting them out we will have to design 35 types of paper cutting design that has a 3D effect on it. this part of the assignment is extra challenging for me as i ran out of ideas after reaching the 15th Square.
LASER PAPER CUTTTING
in this section of the assignment, we we're told to design a pattern or anything in a pattern base that we desire and transfer it to a black or white paper.
this assigment is adviced to not copy anything from the internet but build it by scratch trhough what we feel and how we imagine things.
in this design, I've incoperated my favourite mehendi style that i love . by building many types of style of mehendi on to one black paper that need to be transfer into a white paper.
But don't give up yet, ideas are everywhere if we just take a little patient to it. after keeping the momentum up, i finally got more than 30 styles, but i do know there were a few repeated ones , just added a little twist to it.
after doing more than 30 designs, i will have to pick the best 30 and place 15 at each A3 paper which will be 2 peices of paper.
DESIGNED LASER PAPER CUTTING
I LOVE THIS PART , because overtime i cut it the peices out i will feel a little satisfaction form it , especially when i am abel to cut it out perfectly.
OUT COME
In This assignment, I've discovered how artist create their paper cutting . and all this time i never thought i could actually do it too , this assigment really require patients and a constant thinking to fill in the positive and negative spaces . This part might be hard but its one of the ones that i enjoy most
